Chop the block of cacao

Begin by heating 2 dl of water or vegan milk until it is hot, but be careful not to let it boil. Pour the heated liquid into a blender. Use a knife and cutting board to chop the block of cacao into smaller pieces before adding it to the blender. (15-20 gr for daily use or 35-40 gr for ceremonial use)

Add a sweetener

To sweeten your cacao, you have the freedom to choose your preferred sweetener. Dates or 1-2 tablespoons of raw honey are highly recommended options.

Enhance the flavor

Feel free to enhance the flavor and benefits by adding your favorite spices and superfoods. Let your imagination guide you, but some popular choices include sea salt, cayenne, cinnamon, cardamom, reishi, and maca.

Blend for 20 sec

Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture becomes smooth and frothy. This usually takes around 20 seconds.
